I) Weeks 1 & 2 (Oct 10-24):

– Create the “narrative framework” by researching current-day problems and future projections relating to Maine.

– Develop individual stories to explore how they can be connected and displayed, and to jump start content generation.

– See if other content creators are available to help create “seed” or future content.

-Research forum services, decide on precise features for sharing, look for pre-developed systems that can be customized to suit the needs of Brave New Maine.

– Decide whether to use a locally-hosted or commercially-hosted server or something of the like that will be capable of hosting multimedia content uploaded by approved users.

– Conceptualize awareness campaign to bring in potential users

II) Weeks 3 & 4 (Oct 24-Nov 7):

– Begin to refine system aesthetics

-Test accounts to upload multimedia, define organization (forums communication, mini-blogs, etc.);

– Refine narrative framework

– Internal testing of user functionality

– Continue to develop advertisement campaign

III) Weeks 5 & 6 (Nov 7-21):

-Have refined media uploaded and displayed on site.

– Allow public view of content

– Allow limited upload and management of user generated content;

– Final preparations for advertisement campaign to attract public participation.

IV) Weeks 7 & 8 (Nov 21-Dec 5):

– Final preparations and touch-ups before official public launch.

– Execute advertisement campaign.

– Fix any problems that (will) arise.
