What’s better than virtual legos? Not much. I’ve been working on some javascript mods for consistently amazing and exceptionally time consuming Minecraft using Walter Higgin’s Scriptcraft. It uses Rhino Javascript Interpreter to implement the Craftbukkit API , which ends up with scripts that look like some sort of horrible demon-spawn of java and javascript.
Way of the Elements
My first “serious” endeavor with coding using Scriptcraft was a project I’ve called “Way of the Elements” a shamelessly Avatar, The Last Airbender inspired Minecraft abomination. It allows users to click to trigger element based abilities while holding specific items. There are also “non-standard” element themed armor pieces for each different elemental theme.
