The Sound Dragon is a hacked musical instrument, using a kitchen glove, 5 flex sensors, an arduino uno, a foam ball, and a wiimote. To interface with a computer it used Max MSP for the Arduino and Osculator to connect the WiiMote.
By switching between different loops, moving your fingers allows you to adjust different parts of the track you are building on the fly. It allows you to enter “simple mode” to use the piano function of the glove, or go into solo mode, which allows you to play the glove alone and disable the echo egg.
When the echo egg is active, other “performers” must keep the ball rolling in some way or the music breaks down. You can save the tracks you build to a file for later listening.
