My main role in the Brave New Maine project is to design/customize an existing system that people are going to use to upload their content. To that end I have mainly stuck to technical research and research into different CMS.

After looking around for a system that has the functions that I want I found Drupal and the advanced forum module, which has everything we need.
Drupal Home– for searching for different modules
Drupal Documentation – For technical Documentation related to drupal.
Drupal Custom Pages – For formatting the landing page
Advanced Forum – for the functionality for sharing
Comprehensive Theming Guide– The definitive theming guide for Drupal 7

Since my PHP isn’t very good, and as a reference for CSS, HTML mySQL ect, I’ll be using:
W3schools
Lynda.com – For the great tutorials for coding, mostly
I’m also sending you an email to get me in contact with Sam Hunter (if I’m recalling that correctly) to ask a question about Drupal (though I’ve made some progress toward my dilemma since then.

In regards to the actual topic of story telling, and adding our own “seed content”:

Pump Six and Other Stories & Apocalypse Z – I’m using these books that I previously read as inspiration for the kind of format I want my contributed story content to have.
